At the Nilson Nelson gymnasium, Basquete Tricolor defeated Brasília 72-63, in the Federal District, in the 16th round of the NBB. The highlights of the match were Tyrone (18 points, 6 rebounds and 1 assist), Miller (16 points, 2 rebounds and 1 assist) and Bennett (11 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists).
The opponent started the first half better, scoring 17-13 in the first quarter and 20-15 in the second. The Brasília team went to the locker room with a 9-point lead.
In the third quarter, the São Paulo team ran after and took the lead on the scoreboard, by 28 to 12. The last quarter was very tight, ending 16 to 14 for São Paulo.
Next week, Tricolor will play again at home and face São José, on Wednesday (27th), at 8pm. On Friday (29th) São Paulo hosts Mogi, at 8pm. The two games will be at the Morumbi gym, free entry through gate 13 (Rua Doutor Erasmo Teixeira de Assunção).
