At least five people, including a minor, died when a single-engine plane crashed in a residential area in the Brazilian state of São Paulo, authorities reported this Saturday.
“Aircraft crash. Another charred body was found (of a minor), thus totaling five deaths,” wrote the Fire Department of the state of São Paulo (southeast), on its account on the social network X.

The firefighters did not detail whether all the victims were traveling in the aircraft, which was “small in size, single-engine type.”
The plane fell on Saturday morning in a tree-lined square surrounded by houses in the town of Jaboticabal, more than 340 km from the city of São Paulo.
