IMC agrees sale of assets in Colombia for US$13.5 million By Reuters

SÃO PAULO (Reuters) – IMC, which operates brands such as KFC and Pizza Hut in Brazil, announced on Friday night the signing of a binding agreement for the sale of a company with operations in Colombia, for US$13.5 million , for Inflite Holdings.

The agreement was signed by the subsidiary IMC Puerto Rico and involves the sale of IMC Airport Shoppes, which holds restaurant concessions at airports in Colombia, said IMC, in a relevant fact.

Furthermore, IMC Airport Shoppes owns Inmobiliaria Cart, which has two plants located in the cities of Cartagena and Barranquilla, IMC added, without elaborating.

IMC also said that it is in an “advanced stage of negotiations” for the sale of Industrias Alimenticias Gourmet, which operates the J&C Delícias store chain in Colombia.
