The Oyonnax Rugby club announced on its networks the extension of its two New Zealand players on Sunday December 24.
It was on the club’s networks, on the eve of December 25, that Oyonnax formalized the extension of his pair of New Zealanders, Rory Grice and Jonathan Ruru for several more years.
Arriving at the club in 2017, third row Rory Grice became one of the club’s executives. With more than 30 tries scored in 120 matches, the New Zealander is a centerpiece of Oyonnax’s game, just like his compatriot, Jonathan Ruru. The scrum half, who arrived during the summer of 2023, immediately established himself in the midfield thanks to his technical range. Grice has extended until 2025 and Ruru will be linked to the club until 2026.
