Baghdad/Al-Masala Al-Hadath: The Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs welcomed, on Monday, the statement of the United Nations Special Envoy to Yemen, Hans Grundberg, regarding supporting the peace path.
The ministry stated in a statement that it “expresses its welcome to the statement issued by the Special Envoy of the Secretary-General of the United Nations to Yemen, which includes reaching a road map to resolve the Yemeni crisis.”
She added that she “hopes that the agreement will contribute to achieving the aspirations of the people of Yemen for stability, peace and prosperity,” expressing “the Republic of Iraq’s appreciation for the efforts made by the United Nations to enhance security in the Republic of Yemen.”
