Two people, Kurumban and Balu, were found dead in Kanjirapuzha, Palakkad in what appears to be a mysterious incident. Kurumban, a 53-year-old belonging to the Kanjirapuzha Kanivai tribal community, and Balu, 45, from Karimpuzha, were discovered dead at Kurumban’s house on Monday evening.
Reports suggest that treatment was being carried out in Kurumban’s home under the name of Nattu Vaidyam, leading to the conclusion that Balu may have come for treatment. However, the police have not confirmed this information. Balu’s body was found outside next to Kurumban’s house, followed by the discovery of Kurumban’s body inside the house.
Local residents informed the Mannarkkad police, who subsequently arrived at the scene and transported the bodies to the taluk hospital. The police have stated that the cause of death will only be known after the post-mortem examination. Kurumban is survived by his mother Neely and wife Leela.
The mysterious circumstances surrounding the deaths of Kurumban and Balu have left the community in shock, and the police investigation is ongoing.
