GARUT – Volunteers supporting Ganjar-Mahfud on behalf of Nahdliyin Muda are ready to attack the grassroots voices of the people of Garut Regency. They allout won candidate pair number 3 in the 2024 presidential election.
Young Nahdliyin began to move to reach out to students and first-time voters to strengthen the consolidation of grassroots support. One of them is by holding a Consensus for a Superior Indonesia (Consul) with the theme “Fast Action by NU Youth to Make Indonesia Superior”.
This activity was carried out at the Garut Young Nahdliyin Winning House, Cicurug Village, Pasirkiamis Village, Pasirwangi District, Garut Regency, Monday (25/12/23). Representative of the National Young Nahdliyin Team, Billy, revealed that as a concrete step, his party had formed a winning coordinator team in 13 sub-districts, starting from Cikajang, Garut City, Tarogong, Pasirwangi, Cisurupan, Bayongbong, and so on.
“Today’s activity is a superior Indonesian consensus where we together go to bases in the Garut and Tasikmalaya regions knocking on the doors of residents’ homes in the Tasik and Garut regions by bringing the narrative and big vision of Mr. Ganjar and Prof. Mahfud to become president and vice president in 2024 later,” he said.
Apart from strengthening consolidation, Nahdliyin Muda is also socializing the Ganjar-Mahfud pair while increasing optimism about the winning vote for the presidential and vice presidential candidate pair number 3. Nahdliyin Muda as a youth node is ready to create fun and peaceful elections and build the capacity of young people in the regions through various human resource (HR) empowerment programs.
“Of course, we also do a lot of innovation for our young friends, especially Gen Z. We also don’t tend to be too rigid in our activities. Just be concrete,” he said.
This is in line with Ganjar-Mahfud’s aspirations in the Skilled Indonesia “sat-set” program. Ganjar-Mahfud wants to improve the quality of life and human resource skills with a school program where you can get a salary and get a guaranteed job, and one poor family will have a bachelor’s degree.
“So that means we don’t have to hold activities that are just euphoric events. We focus on developing the character base and capacity of young people. So apart from bringing Mr. Ganjar’s big vision, we are also developing together to be more fine again,” he explained.
