Baghdad/Al-Masala Al-Hadath: Five civilians from one family, including three children, were killed in a Russian air strike at night on Idlib Governorate in northwestern Syria, what paramedics and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported on Tuesday.
The official in the White Helmets (Civil Defense in areas outside the control of Damascus), Abdel Halim Al-Shehab, told Agence France-Presse, “On December 25 at 22:00 (19:00 GMT), civilian homes were targeted by warplanes in “Alata Hill” in the vicinity of Armanaz in Idlib Governorate.
He added, “Our teams responded and recovered the victims from under the rubble of their house,” noting that they belonged to “one family of six people,” as “the father, mother, and three children were killed, and a child receiving treatment in intensive care was injured.”
