JAKARTA – Composite Stock Price Index or JCI today opened up 0.26% at 7,256.15 in trading Wednesday (27/12/2023). This is the highest opening level index shares throughout 2023.

It didn’t take long, until 09:01 JATS time, the composite index returned to its new record at 7,276.13. A total of 192 stocks rose, 98 weakened, and 273 others remained stagnant. The trade transaction value reached IDR 266.53 billion, from a net volume of 244.87 million stock being traded.

LQ45 rose 0.59% at 973.05, the JII index rose 0.57% at 541.37, the MNC36 index rose 0.41% at 362.98, and the IDX30 grew 0.56% at 494.15.

Sectors that supported the index increase include transportation 1.03%, energy 0.54%, finance 0.34%, technology 0.38%, health 0.25%, infrastructure 0.83%, non-cyclical consumer 0.20%, and raw materials 0.72%. Meanwhile, those who weakened were property 0.16%, industry 0.12%, and cyclical consumer 0.02%,

The three stocks leading the top gainers include PT Pyridam Farma Tbk (PYFA) rising 12.90% at IDR 1,225, PT Hetzer Medical Indonesia Tbk (MEDS) rising 11.84% at IDR 85, and PT Visi Telekomunikasi Infrastruktur Tbk (GOLD) grew 11.11% at IDR 380.

Meanwhile, the three top losers were PT Darmi Bersaudara Tbk (KAYU) down 24.85% at IDR 248, PT Isra Presisi Indonesia Tbk (ISAP) down 9.09% at IDR 10, and PT Menn Teknologi Indonesia Tbk (MENN) down 8.33% at Rp. 11.
