Three people have been taken to the hospital with minor injuries after a collision between two buses on Värmdöleden. A total of 45 people were on board the buses.

It was shortly after 08:00 on Wednesday that the alarm came that two buses had collided on Värmdöleden, at the intersection at Henriksdal.

About 45 people were on board the two buses, they were reloaded onto a new bus that could continue towards Värmdö.

Three of the passengers were slightly injured and have been taken to the hospital for a check-up.

“The two drivers have been taken out of service,” says Anna Westberg at the police press service.

Queuing out towards Värmdö

It is too early to say whether it was an accident or whether there is suspicion of crime, according to Anna Westberg.

At nine o’clock rescuers arrived and at about the same time the emergency services left the scene.

Two lanes out towards Värmdö were blocked and the accident has created long queues in the direction of Värmdö. There is still limited access towards Värmdö.
