Mother and daughter found safe after Amber Alert canceled in Maine
State police in Maine have canceled an Amber Alert after 3-year-old Angie Rodondi and her mother, 35-year-old Norma Rodondi Jimbikt, were found safe early Friday morning.
The two were reportedly forced into a white Ford Explorer with New York registration by a male suspect at approximately 11:30 a.m. Police said the mother and daughter were residing in the Biddeford area, just south of Portland.
The vehicle crossed the tolls into New York State at 3:41 p.m, and the Amber Alert was canceled just after 12:40 a.m. on Friday.
There are no further details regarding the suspect or the circumstances of their discovery, but the good news is that the mother and daughter are now safe and sound.
