Search for Kimberlee Singler, 35-year-old Colorado mother accused of killing her children

by time news

A 35-year-old mother from Colorado is on the run after allegedly killing two of her young children. Kimberlee Singler is wanted by police for suspicion of murder, attempted murder, child abuse, and assault, according to a statement by the Colorado Springs police.

The incident occurred on December 19 when officers responded to a 911 call about a burglary and found a 9-year-old girl and a 7-year-old boy dead at the scene. Singler and another daughter, age 11, were taken to the hospital. It was later determined that the initial report of a burglary was unfounded.

Singler, who has been estranged from her husband and has been locked in a years-long divorce case, has been missing since Saturday. Court records reveal that the divorce case involved accusations of brandishing a knife, consideration of polygraph testing, and visitation exchanges at police stations.

Police obtained an arrest warrant for Singler on Tuesday, but she remains at large. Family law attorneys for both Singler and her husband were not immediately available for comment.

The search for Singler continues as police urge anyone with information on her whereabouts to come forward.
