Attack foiled in Germany where German law enforcement arrested three alleged affiliates of an Islamist terrorist cell. The target, Bild reports, was the Cologne Cathedral to be hit with a car on New Year’s Eve.

The arrests follow those that occurred before Christmas, when the alarm about possible terrorist actions spread following intelligence reports.
