“Ayodhya Ram Temple Kumbabhishekam Celebrated with Unique Clock Donation”

On the occasion of the Ayodhya Ram Temple Kumbabhishekam, Aeel Kumar Saku, a vegetable seller in the market at Hahnemann Crossing in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, made a unique and generous donation to the temple’s foundation, Ramajenma Bhoomi Tirthashetra. Saku donated a clock that shows the time in eight different countries.

Saku shared that the work for this special clock started during last October’s Navratri festival. After considerable effort, the clock was completed with a diameter of 75 cm. The clock displays the time in India, Dubai, Singapore, Tokyo, Mexico, Moscow, Beijing, and New York.

Anil Kumar Chagu, who presented the clock to Sampadrai, General Secretary of the Ayodhya Ram Temple Trust, expressed his plans for even more ambitious projects. Chagu has previously gifted similar clocks to places such as the Khatu Shyam Temple in Lucknow and is now working on a clock that will display the time in 25 countries. His future plans include gifting such a clock to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

The impressive clock, with a diameter of 75 cm, is a labor-intensive project, taking about three thousand to make and an hour and a half to complete. Chagu also hopes to commercialize similar clocks in the future. While finances have posed a challenge to his plans, he remains committed to his vision, which was inspired by a conversation with his landlord about the importance of time.

The donation of this unique and globally-inclusive clock adds an innovative touch to the celebrations of the Ayodhya Ram Temple Kumbabhishekam, reflecting the spirit of unity and generosity within the community.
