A Japan Airlines passenger filmed the interior of the aircraft after the collision with a Japanese Coast Guard planeat Haneda International Airport, in Tokyo, this Tuesday, 2. Authorities confirmed the deaths of five people and 17 more injured.

In the images it is possible to see the plane partially on fire as it tried to stop, shortly after landing. The aircraft managed to stop moments later, and the flight’s 367 passengers and 12 crew members disembarked.
The plane was on flight 516, which departed from Chitose Airport, in Hokkaido — the country’s second largest island — to Haneda Airport, in the capital Tokyo. The aircraft landed at 5:47 pm local time (Brasília time was 5:47 am).

Images from airport security cameras show another angle, in which the planes involved in the accident are seen exploding. Then, black smoke fills the cabin. According to the airline, the passengers were gradually removed by the crew, following safety protocols.

Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida said he was gathering information about what failed to cause the planes to crash. The collision also caused the cancellation of all flights at the airport.
Five died in accident
Japanese broadcaster NHK reported that five of the Coast Guard plane’s six crew members died in the collision. In addition, 17 people were injured, including the aircraft pilot, who is hospitalized in serious condition.
The military plane was heading towards the Niigata military base, on the west coast of the Asian country. The purpose of the flight was to bring help to cities hit by earthquakes, this Monday, the 1st.
The tremors reached magnitude 7 and left 48 people dead. According to NHK, an elderly man was the first victim of the tragedy. He was rescued and taken to a hospital in the region, but he did not survive.
There are also reports of injured people and collapses in five prefectures: Ishikawa, Niigata, Fukui, Toyama and Gifu.
