Burkina: Zero tolerance for corruption in 2024
Ouagadougou, Dec. 31 2023 (AIB) – In his New Year message Sunday December 31, 2023, the President of the Transition, Captain Ibrahim Traoré invited the people of Burkina Faso to engage in the fight against corruption. According to Captain Traoré, the phenomenon continued throughout 2023. “In 2024, we intend to launch the machine of the fight against corruption. » he cursed. The President invited “all these institutions and structures which work in the fight against corruption to redouble their efforts” so that this phenomenon can be banned from our society.
On December 9, 2023, ASCE-LC and its partners decided to commemorate the international anti-corruption day at the national level around the theme: “The fight against corruption, an integral part of the anti-anti-terrorism fight”. On the occasion, they invited the Burkinabè government to make the fight against corruption a key element of the fight against terrorism, we recall.
