Ashok Leyland, the parent company of Hinduja Group, has reported a decline in total sales for the month of December. The company announced that its total sales for December 2023 were 16,324 units, which is a 10% decrease from the previous year’s figure of 18,138 units in December 2022.
The company’s domestic sales also saw a decline of 10% to 15,323 units in December 2023 from 17,112 units in the same month of the previous year. The sales of medium and heavy-duty vehicles dropped by 11% to 10,102 units from 11,399 units in December 2022.
Furthermore, the sales of light commercial vehicles also witnessed a decrease, with 5,221 units sold in December 2023, down by 9% from 5,713 units sold in December 2022.
