Renfe travelers increase by 21.4 percent from January to November 2023
Renfe has transported 479.4 million passengers between January and November 2023. This figure represents an increase of 21.4 percent compared to the same period of the previous year.

The 479.4 million travelers that Renfe has registered between January and November 2023 encompass the different modalities of the operator’s offer. Of this amount, 451.2 million have traveled to Obligations of Public Services, Cercanas, Media Distancia and Avant, while the other 28.2 million travelers have been those who have opted for AVE, Avlo, Alvia, Euromed and Intercity .
For Renfe, these results “represent a consolidation” of its trajectory, which has been reinforced with more than 84.6 million new customers compared to last year. Among the main reasons why it considers that the number of travelers has increased, the operator highlights “a multitude of destinations, the large number of frequencies, trust in trains and initiatives such as Verano Joven and free passes for recurring customers of Cercanas and Media.
