It is the only equipment for Paris 2024, which will have been the scene of two Olympics. The Yves-du-Manoir departmental stadium, in Colombes (Hauts-de-Seine), will host field hockey events next summer. It is a real piece of history which has undergone two years of work and a facelift costing some 80 million euros.

On December 18, Lionel Christolomme, the chairman of the board of the Léon Grosse construction group, symbolically handed over the keys to Georges Siffredi, the president (LR) of the Hauts-de-Seine departmental council. The 2024 version of Yves-du-Manoir has little to do with the old-fashioned stadium it was in 2017, when the Ciel et Blanc of Racing 92 competed there, notably with New Zealander Dan Carter, their last rugby matches before joining La Défense Arena. Paris 2024 offers a new lease of life to this venue.
