Images of Mahindra’s new 2024 XUV400 electric SUV variant, the EL Pro, have been revealed online, giving enthusiasts a look at the highly anticipated vehicle ahead of its arrival at the end of January.
The XUV400 is set to come with a completely revamped interior, featuring a 10.25-inch floating cluster. Despite these changes, the overall appearance of the new model remains largely unchanged, with improvements to features such as LED headlights.
The interior of the XUV400 will showcase a dual-tone steering wheel, akin to the XUV700, and a new 10.25-inch floating infotainment system with improved HVAC switches and dual-zone AC. Other than these updates, no major changes are expected to the vehicle’s design.
In terms of performance, the 2024 XUV400 is expected to offer 148 horsepower and 310 Nm of torque, with a 34 kWh battery that delivers a maximum range of 250 km on a single charge. An additional 39.4 kwh battery option is also available, offering a range of 290 km on a single charge. The top variant of the vehicle will be equipped with 6 airbags for added safety.
Charging the 2024 Mahindra XUV400 from 0-100% is expected to take 6 hours using a 7.2kW charger. As for pricing, it is estimated that the starting price for the vehicle will be around Rs.16 lakh. The XUV400 is anticipated to compete with other electric SUVs in the market, such as the Tata Nexon EV LR, MG IZS EV, and Hyundai Kona Electric.
