The authorities of the Trans-Baikal Territory and the Republic of Mordovia have introduced new restrictions due to the increase in the incidence of coronavirus. In Transbaikalia, mass events for children, including outdoors, will be suspended from January 31 to March 1.

Sports, entertainment, leisure, entertainment, public and other events fall under the ban, the decree says on the website of the regional government. In addition, schoolchildren with a high temperature and signs of SARS will be suspended from classes, and classes will be transferred to distance learning if at least one case of coronavirus is confirmed.

In Mordovia, minors were banned from being in crowded places, the republic’s operational headquarters said. The restriction began on January 28 and will last until February 15. During this period, children and teenagers will not be able to visit museums, concerts, fitness centers, catering establishments and cinemas. It is allowed to go to shopping and entertainment centers, but only accompanied by parents / legal representatives.

In addition, it is forbidden to conduct face-to-face classes for additional education programs and sports events with the participation of children, except for those included in the calendar plan.

Earlier in St. Petersburg, due to the increase in the incidence of COVID-19, a temporary ban was introduced for children and adolescents to visit cinemas, museums and other crowded places. The new restrictions are valid from January 28 to February 13.

In Russia, 113,122 cases of coronavirus were detected over the past day, the figure exceeded the mark of 100,000 cases for the first time during the pandemic.
