Bassolma Bazié wants 2024 to be the “grave” of all the enemies of Burkina
Ouahigouya, Jan. 1, 2024 (AIB)-The Minister of State in charge of the Civil Service, Bassolma Bazié, maintained that despite the losses recorded, the commitment of the people is to make the year 2024, the “ tomb” of all the enemies of Burkina Faso.
A ministerial delegation, composed of the Minister of State in charge of the Civil Service, Bassolma Bazié, the Minister in charge of the Economy, Aboubacar Nacanabo, and the Minister of Humanitarian Action, Nandy Somé, spent New Year’s Eve December 31, 2023 in Ouahigouya with the FDS from Camp Zondoma.
It was at Camp Zondoma, precisely at the 12th RIC in the North, that the ministers celebrated the evening.
Over a meal, they congratulated the FDS on their victories in the fight against terrorism and encouraged them for the battles to come.
“At the change of the new year to begin 2024, we came to tell our men in uniform that the Burkinabè people are proud to magnify their sacrifice and their bravery,” underlined the head of the delegation, Bassolma Bazié.
Despite the blows and losses recorded, the minister affirmed that victory will be achieved, and the people’s commitment is to make 2024 the tomb of all the enemies who attack Burkina.
“We hope that 2024 will be approached with great serenity, commitment, a spirit of sacrifice and hope,” he added, launching an appeal to all Burkinabè to understand that the security crisis requires other sacrifices.
The Combatant Forces, through their weapons commander at Ouahigouya Square, the corps commander of the 12th RIC, Elisée Tassembedo, appreciated the visit and the words of encouragement.
“This denotes the authorities’ willingness to support us, motivate us further and invite us to give the best of ourselves up to the point of making the supreme sacrifice,” declared the corps commander.
The minister also welcomed the presence of fighting forces from Niger and Mali at the camp.
