Meghalaya : Meghalaya has earned the title of second runner up in the One District One Product (ODOP) Awards 2023, a sign of encouragement for the local artisans and farmers of the state. The award, given by the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade, was announced at a function organized at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi. This recognition is a testament to Meghalaya’s efforts in taking forward the ODOP initiative. This news was released by Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma.
He said that this award serves as an inspiration for the farmers and skilled artisans of the state who are striving to get their unique products recognized on national and international platforms.
