The State Support Center has decided to allocate 4 million euros for the implementation of the project for the construction of a sea pier in Narva-Jõesuu, writes ERR, citing the material of the “Actual Camera”.
The total cost of this project is 7 million euros, and the resort town hopes to receive support from the government.
“Now we need to find another 3 million euros. Next week we will meet with experts, with whom we will review the working draft, look for possible options to reduce the cost of the design solution, and continue negotiations with the government. In January, meetings are planned with several ministers in order to find the missing amount through the state budget and fully implement the pier project in the next few years,” said the mayor of Narva-Jõesuu, Maxim Ilyin, about the plans.
