Priyadarshan’s latest release is Marakkar starring Mohanlal: The Lion of the Arabian Sea. The movie was released on December 2 last year. Soon, the film was also available on the streaming platform Amazon Prime Video.

Filmed in just 102 days without a break, Marakkar was released two years late due to Kovid expansion.
“After the film was completed, we waited for two and a half years for the film to be released in theaters. I started working on this film four years ago. I was so relieved to see it on the big screen. Not everyone in the world likes a movie. Some have high expectations. Compliments are always subjective. What looks good to one visitor may not be so great to another. Nowadays, everyone can tell what mistakes we have made, ”Priyadarshan said.
