Video: a player’s father came in and hit the rival goalkeeper

Unusual episode of violence in Italy’s Serie C. It happened at the end of the match between Cesena and Olbia. Cristian Shpendi, one of the local players, had to leave the field due to a cut on his eyebrow as a result of a collision with Filippo Rinaldi, the visitor’s goalkeeper.

This caused Shpendi’s father, as soon as the match finished, very upset, to attack Rinaldi with a strong attack: He ran onto the field and punched Rinaldi. Security personnel then restrained him.
