This Saturday, the Ministry of Finance carried out an inspection process in the shops and businesses located in Surf City, one of the most attractive and visited tourist sites in the country.
The objective of the inspections is to ensure that establishments comply with tax law and provide invoices to their clients for the services provided.
The Treasury reported that the unit of the General Directorate of Internal Taxes (DGII) is in charge of carrying out the inspections.
The institution reiterated that it is the obligation of businesses to provide invoices to their clients for the services provided.
We ensure compliance with tax regulations and ensure respect for the rights of Salvadorans. For this reason, our DGII inspection unit moved to Surf City to carry out inspections of shops and businesses. pic.twitter.com/qQBR4lqils
