Manchester United initially said they would not comment on the incident until the facts were clarified, but tonight they officially announced that the 20-year-old player has been suspended from action: “Greenwood will not return to training and games until further notice.” Manchester police have also issued a statement regarding the violent incident: “We are aware of the photos and videos circulated on social media, continuing to find out the full circumstances of the incident.” Greenwood has not yet responded to the allegations against him.
