Valence Semiconductor to Demonstrate High-Performance Connectivity Solutions at CES 2024
Valence Semiconductor, a leading developer of high-speed connectivity chips for the automotive industry and professional markets, is set to showcase its latest innovations at CES 2024.
One of the main highlights of Valens’ presentation will be a live comparison of its chip technology against a competing solution, demonstrating that its VA7000 chips provide superior performance in critical parameters for the autonomous vehicle industry.
The company will demonstrate the transfer of 8MP video from a camera to a distance of 40 meters with a coax cable – a capacity 2.5 times greater than the current industry standard. Additionally, Valens will showcase fast and central processing of various sensor data, leading to a significant improvement in the perception capabilities of autonomous vehicles.
Valens’ solutions are built on the MIPI A-PHY standard for high-speed information transfer, which is emerging as the leading standard in the automotive industry. At CES 2024, over 20 products from leading suppliers that support this standard and integrate with Valance chips will be on display for the first time.
Furthermore, Valens will introduce its VS6320 chip, which recently won an innovation award. The chip is a single-chip solution for extending USB 3.2 connectivity up to 100 meters, catering to professional markets such as video conferencing, medical, and industrial applications.
