The head of the Joint Transitional Cabinet, Svetlana Tikhanovskaya, will take part in the World Economic Forum, which will be held on January 15-18 in Davos (Switzerland). Franak Vyachorka, adviser to the leader of the democratic forces, told Pozirka about this.

According to Franak Vyachorka, the politician’s participation in this forum provides an opportunity to “discuss the democratic future of Belarus and communicate with world leaders on current international issues.”
Svetlana Tikhanovskaya will speak at the panels “Defending the United Front of Europe”, “Where is Freedom of Expression Going?”, and will take part in events with the participation of the leadership of the UN, WTO, OECD, leaders of the Netherlands, Latvia, Timor-Leste (East Timor), etc.
Bilateral meetings are planned, including with the Speaker of the Philippine Parliament, representatives of international business and technology companies.
Let us remember that the leader of the democratic forces took part in the World Economic Forum in Davos last year. In particular, then a special event “Belarusian Business Today and Economic Recovery in Democratic Belarus” took place – the first discussion in the history of the forum entirely dedicated to our country.
