The auditors of the General Directorate of Internal Taxes (DGII) of the Ministry of Finance continued over the weekend with inspections in tourist businesses to verify that establishments comply with the tax law and issue invoices to their clients for the services or purchases made.
On Sunday the inspections were carried out in different businesses on Costa del Sol Beach, one of the most visited tourist sites by nationals and foreigners.
According to the Treasury, it is the obligation of businesses to provide invoices to their clients for the services provided, for this reason, several inspections were carried out in other tourist attraction places such as Surf City.
Our DGII inspection force traveled to Surf City to verify that the businesses in the area comply with current tax regulations, guaranteeing that the rights of Salvadorans are respected.???? pic.twitter.com/FQdDgQF5gJ
