2024 Golden Globe Winners and Award Ceremony Highlights

The 2024 Golden Globe Awards announced its winners on Sunday in a glitzy event attended by the biggest stars from the world of film and television. The ceremony, which honoured the best of the big and small screen was broadcast live from the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles.

Leading the pack with nine nominations, “Barbie” was followed by “Oppenheimer” with eight nominations. “Killers of the Flower Moon” and “Poor Things” received seven nominations each.

The biggest winner of the night was “Oppenheimer,” taking home the award for Best Motion Picture – Drama. However, it was “Succession” and “The Bear” that swept the TV categories. The event was hosted by comedian Jo Koy, but not without controversy. Koy’s jokes seemingly offended Taylor Swift and took a swipe at Harry and Meghan.
