Stuttering Throat I Amiran Dvir in Israel Stern’s poem: ‘Who is here’ • To listen

by time news

About a year ago I had the privilege of meeting a dear Jew named Israel Stern. I immediately noticed that Israel is a stuttering person, and should be given his time comfortably, when he wants to talk.

“I wish more people knew how to give a good feeling like you give me when I talk to you,” he told me.

Explain to me what you mean? I asked gently.

“A lot of people do not know how to deal with a person who stutters, it is not evil, but a lack of understanding or embarrassment. I know that sometimes it is difficult to understand what I am saying and it takes a little effort to understand, people transmit pressure when they listen to me and it causes a person who stutters more pressure and the stuttering worsens, “Israel replied with pain.

“I ask you, Amiran, to have me and the people who stutter here… It will be our throat to express the pain, we have a simple request, listen to us patiently,” Israel added.

The stories of Israel, as the coordinator of the Haredi branch of Ambi, about the suffering and difficulty of the people who stutter, touched my heart very much, and I decided to be the throat of Israel and the people who stutter.

In this song – “Who is here”, I try to convey Israel’s request through my throat and tongue, hoping that the song will affect as many people as possible.

Amiran Dvir.

“Not a selfish things man because he is heavy-mouthed and heavy-tongued. And the LORD said, Who is this that cometh to man, and I will be with thy mouth? (Exodus 4)
