Hapoel Petah Tikva announces the release of Andre Tischiera
Hapoel Petah Tikva has officially announced the release of 30-year-old Portuguese defender Andre Tischiera. The player, who joined the club last summer, will be leaving after the upcoming game on Saturday at 18:00 against Maccabi Netanya.
Tischiera, who returned to Israel without his family due to the outbreak of war, made the decision to leave Israel after the upcoming match. The club is currently working to sign a replacement player in March.
The defender has had a long career, playing for teams such as Blananshash, Leissush, Trupanes, and Afra in his homeland before moving to AAL Limassol from the Cypriot league in the summer of 2017, and then signing with Hapoel PT last summer.
In other news, striker Shovel Gozlan has passed his medical tests at the club and is expected to come to training tomorrow morning to officially sign.
