Speaking in the language of numbers, Bence Rétvári pointed out: since 2010, the increase in doctors’ wages has exceeded the increase in the average wage.

According to OECD data, the salary of doctors in 2021 was 4.69 times the average salary, which is the highest among OECD countries.

Bence Rétvári also mentioned that in March 2024, salary increases in the healthcare sector will continue with the salary increase for skilled workers, and their average basic salary will reach 37 percent of the average medical salary.
