The police went to a property in Mjölby on Saturday morning after bullet holes were discovered in a property. The holes were found in both a window and a wall.
During the night, several explosions were heard in the area. No one is said to have been physically injured in connection with the incident.
An address was cordoned off on Saturday morning and police technicians are investigating the scene.
”They are now working extensively on the case and taking several different investigative measures to gain more clarity on the incident. Police technicians are still working on the scene and the cordons are currently in place“, the police write.
At first, the police were tight-lipped about the operation and did not say more than that they were investigating a serious crime.
– We do not have the full picture of the situation ready and therefore cannot go into more details at the moment. We are taking some investigative measures, says police spokesperson Olle Älveroth.
He has no information on whether there are any suspects or arrests.
