Every January 14, the Catholic Church remembers Saint Felix of Nola, a Roman priest who suffered the persecutions of the emperors Decius and Valerian, which earned him veneration as a ‘confessor of the faith’ and ‘martyr’, although not He died violently.

Thanks to the biography of Saint Felix prepared by Saint Paulinus, bishop of Nola at the end of the 4th century, there is not little information available about this great saint. Saint Paulinus was a fervent admirer of Felix, whom he had as a patron saint.

In addition, other illustrious authors such as Bede the Venerable, Saint Augustine of Hippo and Gregory Turonense wrote about him, whose works are considered sources of extreme reliability.
