A particularly exciting discovery happened today with the emissary to Tashkent rabbi Haim Moshe Shaikwitz.

It all started with the call of the collector of the local synagogue to the messenger Rabbi Chaim, to come help him look for a certain tombstone in the cemetery.

The two went searching.

Suddenly, Rabbi Chaim discovered her tombstone and after reading what was written on it, he was amazed.

He excitedly asked the collector to read what was written on it and asked him: “How do you bring me up to the Torah?”

The gabbai answered: “Chaim Moshe Mordechai son of Zvi Eliezer.”

He was also surprised after reading the words Haim Moshe ben Eliezer.

It was known that the great grandfather died in Tashkent in 20 Shebat and his burial place was not known.

For over 80 years (!) his grave was found by his grandson Haim, the emissary to Tashkent, who was named after him.
