With around 80.5 million smartphone units sold, Apple holds a 24.7% market share. It is revealed that Apple has increased its market share by 11.6% compared to last year.
It is noteworthy that Apple has a 24.0% market share with shipments of 72.1 million units of smartphones in 2022.
Apple is followed by Samsung, Xiaomi, Transsion (a Chinese mobile company that manufactures branded mobiles like Itel, Techno, Infinix) and Vivo at the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th positions respectively.
Samsung, which occupies the 2nd position in this list, has shipped a total of 53.0 million units of smartphones in 2023 and has a market share of 16.3%. Xiaomi, which is ranked 3rd, shipped 40.7 million units and has a market share of 12.5%.
Transsion is at the 4th position with 8.6% market share with 28.2 million units shipped and Vivo is at the 5th position with 7.4% market share with 24.1 million smartphone units shipped.
