A baby who was only four months old would have been the victim of alleged sexual abuse, a crime that came to light after her mother took her to the Red Cross in a critical condition due to bronchoaspiration. After being resuscitated, the minor was transferred to the Maternal and Child Hospital, where during the medical evaluation evidence of sexual assault was detected.
Dulce Anahí, the little girl’s mother, went to the Red Cross facilities around 1 a.m. this Tuesday in search of urgent care for her daughter, who experienced respiratory arrest. The medical staff managed to stabilize the baby’s vital signs and coordinated her transfer to the emergency unit of the Maternal and Child Hospital.

During the medical examination at the hospital, specialists identified worrying signs of possible sexual abuse in the minor’s intimate areas, which led to immediate notification to the authorities of the State Attorney General’s Office.
Given the possibility of an attack against the minor, the ministerial agents began an investigation to clarify the facts. As part of the proceedings, interviews will be carried out with the girl’s parents and a visit will be made to her home in the Nogales neighborhood. Meanwhile, the baby remains under observation in the hospital.
