“More than once we have encountered situations in which people who became infected with the corona virus began to develop various symptoms and diseases. Doctors in the community and hospitals had no doubt that these were diseases that broke out or worsened due to the corona virus and stress the body went through. The diseases are contagious by the virus, “say attorneys Krauss and Alon.
According to them, the medical committees of the National Medical Association have recently recognized, for example, the causal link between the onset of chronic diseases such as fibromyalgia, Graves’ disease (thyroid disease), and diseases caused by blood clots, such as venous thrombosis.
According to Adv. Kraus and Alon, this recognition entitles, among others, employees who contracted the corona virus at work, and developed such diseases – in significant percentages of disability, for which they are entitled to respectable monthly grants or pensions, which in some cases can reach hundreds of thousands of shekels.
According to them, such recognition is extremely important, because if the condition of the victims is aggravated as a result of the chronic diseases they suffered, this aggravation will also be considered a work injury, and the plaintiffs will be able to receive an increased benefit.
For example, a medical committee recently recognized the temporary disability (at a high rate) of a woman who suffered from a number of chronic diseases, and whose claim was submitted to the National Insurance Institute by attorneys Krauss and Alon in these words: “Conclusions: A. (Osteoarthritis – joint disease) with Graves’, which is not yet balanced, rash symptoms and LAC (lupus) … It should not be ruled out that these symptoms are affected by the acute infection in the corona which is known to aggravate the effects of AA.
Another medical committee appointed to examine another plaintiff represented by attorneys Kraus and Alon recently ruled that the plaintiff suffered a temporary disability due to a venous thrombosis that erupted following her corona infection: Today there is mild edema and tenderness in the left ankle area. Conclusions: Temporary condition 20% until June 2022 “.
And recently another medical committee determined that an employee who suffered from fibromyalgia suffered from post-traumatic stress disorder Corona: “It was agreed that this was a development of fibromyalgia due to post-trauma syndrome. At a rate of 10% according to 35 (1) dated 1/1/2022 “.
According to attorneys Krauss and Alon, these are important determinations, which have not only economic significance, but also great value and moral significance.
“This time, the National Security Council, in a big and encouraging move, chose not to fight the public, whose luck did not improve, and accepted our claims that the serious chronic diseases that plagued our client arose, most likely, from contracting the corona virus,” conclude attorneys Krauss and Alon.
