The Irada and Mental Health Complex – Mental Health Services – in Jeddah, organized a program for afforestation and development of green areas within the Green Saudi Initiative, with the aim of improving the quality of life and a healthy environment and to help patients to take a walk inside these parks, empty the negative energies within them, and provide them with positive energy to confront psychological pressures.
This is in cooperation with the National Center for Responsibility and Studies, in the presence of the Director of Training at the National Center for Responsibility and Studies, Riyad Al-Zahrani, and the Deputy General Supervisor and Assistant for Technical Affairs at the complex, Dr. Rabei Kashgari.

Spreading the culture of afforestation
The initiative aims to enhance cooperation between government sectors and the private sector with the aim of spreading the culture of afforestation and increasing the green area to reduce carbon emissions and increase oxygen concentration.
The initiative is considered a proactive approach to addressing the effects of climate change and preserving the Kingdom’s wealth of natural ecosystems.
This initiative confirms the vision’s strategies and the importance of cooperation and integration between different sectors in light of the comprehensive renaissance that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is experiencing at all levels.
