Frisbee, the importer of Chery to Israel, this morning launched the FX EV crossover coupe, the sibling of the FX gasoline that was launched at the end of 2022.
In the past year, the brand managed to become one of the 7 car brands sold in Israel, among others, with the Tiggo 8 pro, the best-selling seven-seater car in Israel for 2023, alongside the Tiggo 7 and the FX, all of which are gasoline-powered only.
Chery FX EV – dimensions and prices
The electric FX model maintains similar dimensions to the gasoline version, with a length of 4.424 m, a width of 1.83 m, a height of 1.588 m and a wheelbase of 2.63 m.
The model will be marketed in its electric edition in 2 trim levels, Comfort (152,990 NIS) and Noble (162,990 NIS). Both models have the option of choosing two-tone exterior painting, with an additional 5 thousand NIS.
Chery FX EV – accessories
The Comfort version includes 2 12.3″ screens (indicators and multimedia), connectivity to mobile phones and 6 speakers, keyless entry and operation including remote operation, rear camera and sensors in the front and back, split climate control with rear air conditioning vents, voice operation, fast wireless charging, and heating Rear seats actually, for the benefit of the children.
You will also find here LED lighting, 18″ rims, tinted rear windows, electrically folding side mirrors and more.
The Nobel version adds vegan leather upholstery, an upgraded sound system from Sony with 8 speakers, overhead display, 360 cameras, electric adjustment along with ventilation and heating for the front seats, an electric tailgate without hands, an electric sunroof, ambient lighting and more.
Chery FX EV – Safety
Two trim levels receive a safety score of 7 out of 8. In both you will find 7 airbags, an active system to prevent deviation from lane and center, autonomous emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, warning against opening a door when there is cross traffic, vehicle detection in a dead zone, automatic braking in reverse, warning About driver fatigue, emergency braking against a pedestrian or two-wheeler and more.
Chery FX EV – engine, drive, battery
The electric motor, which drives the front wheels, has a power of 204 hp and a torque of 34.7 kgm. Acceleration from standstill to 100 km/h takes 7.6 seconds.
The manufacturer declares an electricity consumption of 15.5 kWh per 100 km, and the declared distance between charges reaches up to 430 km (in the WLTP standard).
With declared fast charging, the battery will charge in less than 30 minutes (10%-80%).
According to the importer, Israel is the first country in the world where the Chery FX EV will be launched, and the prices will apply at least to the initial stocks that the importer has stocked up, numbering over a thousand cars.
