For the past six years, the two companies have operated the duty free store in the airport in Terminal 1 and Terminal 3. The royalties received by the airport authority, according to De Marker, amounted to approximately 176.6 million dollars per year, with the contract being for 10 years, 3 of them as the extension option defined in the contract.
