After a first run between 2007 and 2010 in Paris, the show repeats the feat and “signs the record for the number of spectators in a single theater”, specifies Stage Entertainment France, owner of the Théâtre Mogador in a press release.
“It is a real pride to see, performance after performance, such a varied audience rushing to applaud this unique, striking show, and giving us very enthusiastic testimonials upon exit,” assures Laurent Bentata, the general director of the Mogador theater , in this same press release.
“As a producer, I am delighted to see a renewal of generations, an audience that goes beyond the family,” he continues.

Adapted from the famous Disney cartoon which is preparing to celebrate its 30th anniversary this year, The Lion King is one of the most seen shows in the world. Performed on Broadway for more than 20 years, it has already won over more than 112 million people, in 9 languages, in 25 countries, on all continents.
Directed by Julie Taymor, this spectacular show required a huge amount of work. Every evening, nearly 50 actors, singers, dancers, 11 musicians, 80 technicians, 200 masks, 200 puppets and 100 musical instruments parade on stage. The Lion King is playing at the Mogador theater until July 14, 2024.
