The autofictional book by comedian and actor Panayotis Pascot has sold more than 200,000 copies since its publication in August 2023.

“4 years ago I started writing on themes that are dear to me. And over the course of insomnia, these lines transformed into a book,” explained Panayotis Pascot on Instagramat the time of the book’s release.

“It’s an autofictional story. There is distance, inventions, features that I have enlarged or diminished, there is real literary work. I think it’s a book about a kid who tries to looking for oneself, on a quest for oneself, on the quest for intimacy”, he added to 20 minutessome months later.

In October 2023, two months after its release, The Next Time You Bite the Dust had already sold 100,000 copies, while French bookstores were seeing real enthusiasm.
