President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) during the BRICS Extraordinary Virtual Summit
Research carried out by consultancy MDA, commissioned by the National Transport Confederation (CNT), shows that the approval of President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva’s (PT) personal performance underwent a positive variation: from 54.9% to 55.2% between September and January. On the other hand, the disapproval index also grew, from 39% to 39.6%.
Lula’s approval rating among men and women is the same (55%). However, it is disapproved by more men (42%) than women (38%).
Regarding management in general, Lula’s government was considered excellent or good by 42.7%, regular by 28.1% and bad or terrible by 27.9%. Another 1.3% did not respond.
The survey indicates an improvement of 2 percentage points in the government’s positive assessment: from 41% to 43%. Even so, there is an increase in negative evaluation: from 27% to 28%.

which has been conducted nationwide since 1998, personally interviewed 2,002 voters aged 16 and over between January 18 and 21, 2024. The estimated margin of error is approximately 2.2 percentage points.
