Octave Klaba’s group wants to expand into artificial intelligence OVH
The European cloud leader unveils several solutions dedicated to artificial intelligence. In a market with enormous potential currently dominated by American giants, the Roubaix group hopes to make its mark.
OVH Cloud is on the offensive at the start of 2024. A few days ago, in London, the European cloud leader tried to reassure investors after a year 2023 marked by slightly weaker growth than expected and a loss of 40 million euros which caused the fall of the stock on the stock market. The group, founded by Octave Klaba, is nevertheless aware of a promising dynamic, namely the galloping digitalization of the economy and the use of cloud services to store, secure and create new uses thanks to company data.
Although growth slowed in 2023, it still reached 13.9% compared to the previous year, to 897 million euros in turnover. The group expects its revenues to increase on average each year in a range between 11% and 13% between 2024 and 2026, as well as a return to positive cash flow by this horizon.
