This Tuesday, Slovenia beat Denmark, three-time world champion, 28-25, in the last round of Group II of the main round of the European handball championship, removing Portugal from the dispute for fifth place. Portugal, which drew today with the Netherlands (33-33), was overtaken by Slovenia in Group II, with six points, one more than the Portuguese team, which was in fourth, three points behind Denmark and one behind Sweden, which has one less game.
