A team of police anti-narcotics department officers arrested a woman at the arrivals terminal of the Katunayake airport.
A business woman has been arrested for illegally bringing gold jewelery worth Rs 1 crore 37 lakh to Sri Lanka.
It is also reported that she is a 46-year-old resident of Marudanai area and is a business woman who regularly travels by plane.

The woman arrived at Katunayake Airport from Dubai at around 12.40 am on Fly Dubai Airlines flight FZ-569.
The 666 grams of jewelery he had carefully hidden in his travel bag was found and arrested by the police’s anti-narcotics unit.
